David Soul in Love Letters
Well, I was hoping someone would mention it, but alas no...so here I am :P David's currently doing a short run of the play Love Letters with Jerry Hall in Dublin.

They started rehearsing around April 18th--Model Jerry Hall and actor David Soul, former member of the dynamic duo 'Starsky and Hutch' have landed in Dublin for rehearsals for a new theatre play that brings the pair together in a romantic stage show.

Apparently on the flight over, Jerry and David got on very well--"I'm a big fan... we met each other on the aeroplane on the way over and laughed the whole way."

Also, since I was here, I updated the background image. Hey, look, older boys!

Hi folks I'm back after a fun filled two days in Dublin!
Firstly I want to say thanks to Jools, my partner in crime, thanks mate! What fun we had and thankyou for having the front to ask David for a photo. I'd have been happy just to say congrat's but a photo...and a kiss WOW the icing on the cake!
Thanks also to Sarah. What a blast and your excitment in the cab was no-where near as bad as mine and Moes' was the first time Moe saw David LOL So don't apologise.
I had such a wonderful time with you and sharing your "David moment" was a thrill for me, I was soooo pleased for you.
As for the play it was brilliant. Both Jerry Hall and David were excellent and really made the play very powerful and emotional.

It was a wonderful play. David IMO was the better actor. He really used the cards to "read" the letters and act, using facial expressions, slight pauses, etc to really convey the emotion needed for the role. He was wonderful.
Both actors didn't use mics so it was just the strength of their voices that carried throughout the theatre. OK so it wasn't large, but it was still good going IMO.
The play was very cleverly written and beautifully performed. Kudos to the casting director/producer who belived that Jerry and David would work well together. He was spot on!
As for afterwards, what can I say......we were buzzing, after leaving the theatre and, although I wasn't too concerned about waiting for David afterwards, I knew I would be thrilled if it meant Sarah would get the chance to meet him. And she did, and she was! LOL
David was in a VERY good mood. Originally he went the opposite way to us, but when he (or his assistant) realised we were waiting he came back to us. Jools spoke first, congratulating him and Sarah and I did the same. Jools held out her hand and he shook it and then he offered his hand to Sarah and then me. He saidsomething like "Oh it's you" I don't know if that was recognition or not but like to think maybe it was! hehe.
I then, after taking his hand sneaked a kiss and he smiled, so Sarah got brave and sneaked one too and he loved it! he was smiling and very, very sweet. Jools then asked if we could have one photo and he said "Sure, why not!" After me offering to let Jools be in the pic Jools very kindly said "No go on" so Sarah and I took our positions next to David. The pic was taken very quickly as we didn't want to keep him longer than necessary.
It was a wonderful moment. David looked and seemed very happy. He had obviously enjoyed his performance and he had every right to. Apart from a few very rude members of the audience, who allowed their mobile phones to ring, or were clinking their ice in their drinks, it was very well received by everyone.
There were some very funny moments and both David and Jerry managed to gain some laughs, from their delivery of the lines. The ending is sad, as Melissa dies. It is only then that Andy (David's character) realises he loved her all along. Awwww.

	I went with Jo and Jools to see Love Letters and had the best time ever!! I think I squealed all the way back from the theatre to the hotel. The poor taxi driver!!
